1) Attention-Grabbing Introduction
All of these sermons begin with a heart-stopping story, joke or illustration.
2) Minimal Personal Anecdotes
Since YOU can’t easily (or honestly) tell MY first-person stories I don't incorporate them.
3) Appropriate Humor
“Humor is like a rubber sword; it allows you to make a point without drawing blood.”
4) Illustrations
Every main point is illustrated with a story, example, quote or joke. This DELIGHTS your congregation and enhances your delivery.
5) Brevity
These sermons are timed to last twenty-two to twenty-five minutes in length. Less is more.
6) Classic Style
With few exceptions these sermons have one central idea expressed in three supporting points. The classic style is simple, memorable, and timeless.
